A quick hello
I'm the only one behind A Place To Learn Crypto Basics. I write plain steps about wallets, exchanges, taxes, and staking. This is a small personal blog, not a company.
What I might see
When you stop by, my hosting and stats may note which pages you open, your browser kind, and your IP. It's just basic visit info for rough counts. Nothing sneaky, I promise.
Why I keep it
I like to know which crypto guides actually help you. So I glance at simple stats now and then. I don't sell your data or run a surveillance shop. It's just me and a quiet dashboard.
How long I keep it
I hold onto basic logs for a while, maybe a year or so, then clean them out. If you send a note via the contact form, I keep that until I answer and then drop it. Simple as that.
Your choices
- You can ask to see, fix, or delete any info I have
- Send a message through the contact form to reach me
Kids aren't the target here, but if a young one visits, the same plain rules apply. I keep things as safe as I can, though no site is bulletproof. Readers from other lands see the same pages. I might update this note down the road. For more on tracking, check the cookies page. Got a question? Use the contact form.
